Vistra is a leading provider of trust, fiduciary, fund and corporate services. Over recent years they have expanded rapidly through acquisitions and organic growth and now employs over 1300 professionals across the globe.
The Problem
As part of a global rebranding project Vistra approached Hydras to help them migrate the www.vista.com and www.vistragroup.com websites, which provide the global face for Vistra, from their current environment to a new, higher performing and scaleable infrastructure. The problem with the current environments was that they had no resilience, no capacity for caching or elasticity and the server speed and page response times were not fit for purpose.
The Solution
Hydras worked closely with Vistra and their development team to identify potential architectural solutions within AWS before agreeing a final design. The resulting solution was then automatically built and configured into AWS, using repeatable code that also provided a deployment engine for the development team. Using this automated build process, test and production systems were built in a short time frame. Hydras now working with Vistra to support this environment.
