This is great opportunity for a true Endur specialist with a strong background in Gas and/or Power to join a collaborative environment where expertise can influence mission-critical solutions and where modern technology meets business strategy. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and documentation of bespoke, state-of-the-art energy trading systems
  • Conduct requirement gathering and analysis across functional, technical, operational, and non-functional domains
  • Act as a hands-on advisor, guiding delivery and solution design reviews
  • Manage business change initiatives and maintain open lines of communication with stakeholders
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, product owners, designers, technical leads, and fellow architects to define and deliver forward-thinking platform architectures
  • Ensure accurate information exchange across multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and consulting partners

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience with physical energy trading (preferably Gas and/or Power), including contract complexity, portfolio optimization, and options modelling
  • Proven ability to design and implement enterprise architectures for trading environments
  • Expertise in data modelling, real-time analytics, distributed caching, and both vendor and custom reporting tools
  • Hands-on development and architecture skills across key technologies: AWS, C#/Java, Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, React, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Integration expertise, real-time messaging (AMQ), APIs (JSON, Swagger), batch processing
  • Familiarity with DevOps (CI/CD, Ansible, GIT), cloud infrastructure, and cost-effective, technical solutions
  • Agile mindset to tackle changing requirements and delivery
  • Comfortable working autonomously or as part of a small, agile team
  • A degree in Maths, Engineering, Computer Science) is desirable.
