All Cloud Architects, will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions that drive efficiency across each organisation we partner with. These roles will require strategic thinkers with strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of cloud ecosystems, particularly within the UK market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures tailored to business needs.
• Lead the migration of existing applications and infrastructure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, security, and operations to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud solutions.
• Define best practices and governance frameworks for cloud usage, ensuring compliance with UK data protection regulations such as GDPR.
• Monitor and optimize cloud performance, availability, and cost-efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams in cloud-related initiatives.
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and trends, effectively translating this knowledge into actionable strategies.

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience designing and implementing complex cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles, identity management, and regulatory compliance in the UK context.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Solid knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate technical requirements into actionable solutions.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in cloud architecture or closely related roles.
• Demonstrated success in leading cloud projects and delivering cloud-first strategies.
