Hydras is looking for a skilled Endur Senior Front Office Business Analyst with deep expertise in OpenLink Endur and strong knowledge of the Power & Gas sector. You will join our client’s Power Trading team, focusing on Front and Mid Office operations supporting the trading and management of power generation assets including wind, solar, battery storage, and CCG power stations.

This role involves enhancing systems that empower trading desks to make informed decisions, execute trades, and manage risks efficiently. You will implement asset management operating models and integrate data feeds such as national grid, power auctions, and weather forecasts into Endur ETRM platforms. Designing and implementing Endur system changes to meet evolving business requirements will be a primary focus.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in implementing and extending OpenLink Endur features
  • Strong knowledge of Physical and Financial Power and Gas Markets
  • Ability to lead as a BA and collaborate effectively with teams of BAs
  • Expert understanding of Front and Mid Office trading floor operations
  • Proficiency with non-linear commodity instruments within Endur (e.g., gas & power swing, tolling)
  • Clear communication with traders and quants on option pricing models and complex cross-commodity options
  • Endur configuration expertise: Deal Lifecycle, Confirmations, Settlement, Invoicing, Scheduling
  • Creative problem-solving within structured change control processes
  • In-depth knowledge of Endur reporting systems (APM, TPM, DMS, Connex, EOD workflows)
  • Familiarity with deployment processes, including CMM and cloud DevOps
  • Close collaboration with business analysts, traders, and delivery teams using Scrum and Agile
  • Strong testing and quality assurance practices
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders, including senior executives
  • Analytical mindset and methodical approach, with familiarity in analytical software and best practices

Desirable:

  • Expert knowledge of global power markets
  • Experience with complex contracts and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), including valuation and lifecycle management
  • Knowledge of power asset optimization and tolling agreements
